Useful information about the SOCCACUP

Our international youth tournaments offer unique experiences for your team. We are aware that a number of things need to be planned and agreed in advance in order to take part. We want to keep the organisational effort for you as low as possible. That's why we keep all information transparent.

We have compiled some useful information for you on this page. If you still have any questions, you can contact us at any time by phone or e-mail.

We want to continue to promote the combination of sporting experience, exciting atmosphere and thrilling supporting programme with our tournament trips. Our aim is to inspire you with an exciting sporting competition. The fun of the game always remains most important. At the same time, we promote and live values such as fairness, open-mindedness and tolerance, which are fundamental to respectful interaction in our society.

With our tournament series, we deliberately want to set ourselves apart from other providers and offer the participating teams the following advantages:

Accommodation guarantee: You know the exact name of your accommodation right from the start. With many competitors, you often only choose the accommodation category (hostel, hotel, etc.), but you usually only find out the name 2-3 weeks before arrival.
Pitch guarantee: As the market leader in Europe, we have the best quality natural and artificial pitches exclusively under contract. This means we can always guarantee the best possible pitch quality.
Family character: We deliberately keep the number of participants manageable in order to maintain the high quality of the organisation. Personal support is very important to us.
Short distances: There is a fixed venue for each team, which is close to the accommodation. This means you don't have to commute back and forth between several venues, giving you more time for leisure activities on site.

The SOCCACUP tournaments are designed for official club teams as well as academy teams that are not affiliated to an association. The age groups for juniors range from U09 to U19. Girls' teams are also welcome to take part in our tournaments in a lower junior age group. Coaches, parents, relatives and fans are also welcome to accompany the teams.

There is no fixed registration deadline, but we recommend that you start planning as early as possible, as many tournaments are fully booked early. We will be happy to reserve a starting place for you for a two-week period in order to clarify the willingness of players and parents.

If we still have places available, we would be delighted if you could turn our SOCCACUP into a end-of-season trip for the whole club. You are of course welcome to contact your fellow coaches and pass on our tournament documents accordingly.

We try to make the registration process as simple as possible. In order to be able to confirm your participation in the tournament, we need the individual offer signed and returned. Nowadays, an email with a scanned version as an attachment to team@fussballturniere.com or a mobile phone picture of the signed registration form via WhatsApp to +43 660 600 17 43 is sufficient.

Parents or siblings, friends and acquaintances are all welcome to come to the tournament with you - the tournament is even more fun with the right fan club. Of course, we will also put you all up in the same accommodation, as you want to experience the tournament together.

We are aware that you cannot make the decision to take part in the tournament on your own and that you need time to discuss all the details with players and parents. We are therefore happy to reserve a starting place for you for 14 days in advance. Even if the final number of participants has not yet been finalised after this time, you are welcome to make a booking if the offer meets your expectations. 'Wobbly candidates' can be booked up to 4 weeks before arrival.

As we are not only tournament organisers, but also act as club officials ourselves, we are of course aware that there are always changes to a project of this kind. Therefore, registrations and cancellations can be made at any time up to four weeks before the start of the tournament. Until then, no cancellation fees will be charged if individual participants are unable to make the trip as planned.

In general, we make no distinction in the travel price. However, infants up to the age of 2 in their parents' bed (or in a baby cot brought along) are free of charge, and there is often a 30% discount for siblings under the age of 6.

Organising a tournament trip involves an enormous amount of work. We would like to reward the commitment of the coach, so that there is one free place per team for the coach/organiser. In addition, there is another free place for groups of 25 or more. In addition, our tournament winners will receive a voucher worth €250, which we will be happy to offset against their next tournament participation.

Once you have registered for the tournament, we will send you a booking confirmation with all payment details. A deposit of 30% of the total amount is then due within one week. The remaining 70% must be paid up to four weeks before the start of the tournament, until then the booking confirmation can be adjusted at any time (the amount is reduced if the number of participants has decreased; the amount is increased if additional people have joined). We are athletes ourselves, so we know exactly how decision-making processes work in a club. If deadlines cannot be met, please simply get in touch with us.

This is our big advantage compared to other tournament providers: While you often only book one accommodation category - without knowing the name of the accommodation - we send you the exact name of the accommodation in the first offer. This allows you and your parents to decide together as a team whether this accommodation meets your expectations or whether you would like us to suggest an alternative.

Our tournament package always consists of accommodation with half or full board. This means that breakfast and dinner are always included in the price, and lunch is also included with full board. If the package only includes half board, you can get something to eat at lunchtime on the tournament site at a fair price.

No! After booking, each team will receive a checklist in which allergies, food intolerances or other requests can be noted. We will then inform our hotel partners accordingly.

Personal support is very important to us. Of course, we cannot organise our tournaments without the local clubs, but we retain complete responsibility for the tournament organisation. For this reason, the person who was in charge of organising the tournament will also be on site as the main organiser. Our staff will be waiting for you on arrival and will assist you with check-in if necessary. The personal support will continue throughout the entire tournament period so that you receive the best possible support in all matters on site.

Regardless of their performance in the preliminary round, each team is guaranteed five matches. The playing time is 2 x 15 minutes for matches in the U09 to U11 age groups, 2 x 20 minutes for matches in the U11 to U15 age groups and 2 x 25 minutes in the U16 to U19 age groups. In this way, each team receives sufficient playing time.

Our tournaments take place in the most beautiful holiday regions in Europe, so you can be sure that there will also be plenty to do away from the action. Our official tournament brochure clearly summarises all the excursion options and leisure tips for players and accompanying persons, so you can get the most out of your team trip. In addition, we not only want to score points with an opening and closing ceremony, but also with numerous smaller side events that you can use during the non-match time (e.g. bubble soccer, shooting speed system, TeqBall, football billiards, and much more).

As our international youth tournaments are organised in the most beautiful holiday regions in Europe, the tournament period can of course be extended individually by adding extra nights before or after the event. If you are interested, we will be happy to send you a customised offer. The offer can also be used by individual persons/families, so it is not necessary for the entire travelling group to extend their stay.

Of course, we also offer travel cancellation insurance and a full protection insurance package as part of our tournaments. You can optionally book these insurances at any of our tournaments. We have concluded a framework agreement with our cooperation partner Allianz and can offer the insurance packages at favourable conditions. The rates are valid for a minimum of 10 participants:
ELVIA travel cancellation basic cover: 3.7% of the average travel price per person
ELVIA full cover package: 5.0% of the average trip price per person

If enough accompanying persons come to the tournament or club buses are available for the tournament period, we recommend that you organise your own arrival and departure and tournament transfer on site. However, we can also make you a flight or coach offer. Important: In our opinion, a private coach is only worthwhile from a financial point of view from 40 people upwards. Otherwise, the high fixed costs for petrol and driver are disproportionate to the inexpensive tournament package. However, if the travel group is large enough or several teams have joined together in the club, travelling by coach can certainly be a cost-effective alternative to travelling privately.

Of course, we always hope that all teams can return home without injury. However, we are of course prepared just in case. Nothing is more important to us than the well-being of our participating teams. That's why there will be a doctor or paramedic at every venue to provide first aid should a player be injured during the tournament. In addition, the venues are usually close to a hospital so that players can be quickly transported by ambulance to the nearest emergency room in the event of an emergency.

You have the option of having your tournament participation authorised in advance by your responsible regional sports association using a corresponding form. In this case, insurance cover is provided by the national association in the same way as for training and matches in Germany. All participating teams in our tournaments will be sent the relevant form or a detailed description of how to obtain the form once their participation has been confirmed.
