Commencement of the trip is not possible or unreasonable due to, among other things
- Death
- Unexpected serious illness - including an epidemic or pandemic disease such as COVID-19
- Pregnancy
- Personal quarantine
- Damage to property
What is reimbursed?
- Contractually owed cancellation costs in the event of non-commencement of the trip
- Additional costs for rebooking the trip
Travel assistance
- Assistance in the event of personal emergencies - e.g. in the event of illness or loss of travel means of payment, criminal prosecution - as well as information services for questions relating to safety, mobility, money and authorities.

What events are insured?
Unable or unreasonable continuation of the trip as planned, e.g. due to
- Serious accidental injury or unexpected serious illness - including an epidemic or pandemic disease such as COVID-19
- Personal quarantine
- Natural disasters at the destination
- Terrorist attack within 30 days before the start of the trip within a radius of 100 km of the booked accommodation
What will be reimbursed?
- Additional return travel costs
- Pro-rata travel price of the booked, unused insured travel services on site
- Additional costs for accommodation if it is absolutely necessary to extend the trip
Delay insurance
Which events are insured?
- Delay of the transportation company by at least four hours
- Traffic accident on arrival
What is covered?
- Pro rata costs of the booked, unused insured travel services on site
- Additional costs for meals and accommodation, communication and local transportation Sum insured: € 1,500 per person
Travel health insurance incl. repatriation
What events are insured?
- Illness or accident during the trip, including medical treatment due to an epidemic or pandemic disease such as COVID-19
What is covered?
- Costs for necessary outpatient treatment by a doctor
- Costs of medically prescribed medication and medical treatment
- Costs for necessary inpatient treatment in hospital
- Costs of emergency transportation and medically reasonable and justifiable repatriation of patients
- Up to € 10,000 for search, rescue and recovery costs
Luggage insurance and luggage delay insurance
Which events are insured?
- Damage / loss of luggage
- Luggage delay of at least six hours
What is reimbursed?
- Current value for lost or destroyed items
- Necessary repair costs for damaged items
- Sum insured: € 3,000 per person
- Baggage delay insurance: € 150 per person
Travel liability insurance
- Provides insurance cover if a claim is made against you for compensation due to a loss event that occurred during the trip.
- Sums insured: € 500,000 per person for personal injury and property damage
Travel accident insurance
- Provides compensation if an accident during the trip leads to your permanent disability or death.
- Sums insured: up to € 30,000 per person in the event of disability, € 10,000 in the event of death
Sport & Active Insurance
Which events are insured?
- Participation in pre-booked activity not possible or not reasonable due to illness or death, among other things
- Damage / loss / theft of sports equipment
What is reimbursed?
- non-refundable expenses incurred for the activity
- Costs for repair or replacement of sports equipment
- Up to € 5,000 for search, rescue and recovery costs
- Sum insured: € 500 per person for missed activities, € 500 per person for sports equipment
